MJ Team

Our Black Belt levels are among some of the hardest to achieve. Although Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is commonly recognized for being difficult to master, striking and stand-up techniques are not typically taught within that style. In Issei Ryu Bujutsu, we cover all of the above, which is why the learning process takes longer.

The finish line matters because we want you to remember what exhaustion and ache feels like. What your lungs screaming for air feels like. Most of all, we want you to remember that you survived it.

At Martial Journey, we live by three simple dojo rules. Over the years, these principles have helped set clear expectations for our students, shaped outstanding staff, and supported parents in raising confident, respectful individuals.
