An overview of our Grading procedures so you know what to expect before, during, and after your Belt Grading at Martial Journey.

To level up to the next belt rank, students are required to earn ALL FOUR TECHNIQUE STRIPES, and a minimum of two Good Job stripes on their current belt level.

We believe everybody should be able to protect themselves to the best of their ability; especially those who may not be the strongest, fastest, or toughest.

Martial arts 'gi' come in all colours, although they are commonly depicted in white. At Martial Journey, our uniform is black because, black hides dirt the best.

Our Zoom classes should be used for revision. Students get the most from in-person training but if they practice at home as well, it will boost their progress.
